La presidenta del Tribunal Supremo de Israel, la jueza Dorit Beinisch, recibió este miércoles un zapatazo en plena cara durante la celebración de una vista, según informaron fuentes presenciales.
El autor del lanzamiento, un hombre de 52 años implicado en un caso de separación, hizo en realidad volar dos zapatos, aunque el segundo no consiguió su objetivo. "En medio del proceso, vimos cómo volaba un zapato desde la tribuna del público que alcanzó a la jueza entre los dos ojos", declaró el fiscal Tal Ron. El autor del lanzamiento "le gritó: 'usted es una corrupta, me ha hecho daño'". "Los agentes de seguridad del tribunal saltaron sobre él inmediatamente, parecía estar loco", agregó.
El incidente se produjo durante una sesión en la que el Supremo estudiaba la petición de una organización para que no le retiren la licencia para operar un invernadero de cannabis con fines medicinales en los Altos del Golán (territorio sirio ocupado desde 1967 por el Estado de Israel).
El marido de la jueza informó de que Beinisch había sufrido "un golpe tremendo" que la dejó conmocionada. "Ahora se siente mejor y cree que podrá seguir adelante con el proceso", añadió, en declaraciones a la radio.
