Los países miembros del proceso de Bolonia celebran hoy el décimo aniversario de la reforma universitaria en una cumbre contestada en la calle. Un buen número de ministros de los 46 países parte del proceso, entre ellos el español Ángel Gabilondo, se darán cita hoy en Lovaina para revisar su implantación.
Por su parte, numerosas manifestaciones en Bélgica y los estados participantes amagan con arruinar la reunión. En Bruselas, bajo el lema "Respact", una treintena de asociaciones educativas y políticas llaman a los estudiantes a protestar para reclamar la gratuidad de los estudios universitarios. En Barcelona, el lema es "insumisión a la LOU, moratoria ahora". Los manifestantes denuncian que el Proceso de Bolonia viola un tratado de la ONU, ratificado por una mayoría de países europeos.
"La enseñanza superior debe hacerse igualmente accesible a todos" asegura el Pacto Internacional de los Derechos Económicos, Sociales y Culturales, que aboga por "la implantación progresiva de la enseñanza gratuita". Para los convocantes, este artículo "ha quedado olvidado en el siglo pasado". La Comisión Europea opina que la reforma "ha sido malinterpretada".
