El secretario general del PSE-EE de Guipúzcoa, Iñaki Arriola, ha valorado hoy la operación policial que se ha saldado con el arresto de nueve presuntos terroristas y ha analizado que "se trata de un importantísimo golpe dado a la cúpula de ETA, que seguro se va a resentir".
A través de un comunicado, Arriola ha felicitado a la Policía Nacional española y a la Policía Judicial francesa por la detención ayer tarde en Francia del etarra Jurdan Martutegi, considerado como el número uno del aparato militar de ETA, en una operación coordinada por el juez de la Audiencia Nacional Baltasar Garzón.
Ha resaltado su "reconocimiento y agradecimiento a la labor de las Fuerzas y Cuerpos de Seguridad del Estado y su sincera felicitación al ministro del Interior, Alfredo Pérez Rubalcaba, por el desarrollo de esta operación conjunta con la Policía francesa".
A su juicio, gracias a los últimos arrestos de presuntos terroristas, "hoy ETA está más débil" ya que, según ha destacado, "en apenas cinco meses han caído tres presuntos jefes" de dicha organización.
