El portavoz del PSOE en el Congreso, José Antonio Alonso, ha visto hoy con esperanza el dato del paro del pasado mes de abril, que subió en 39.478 personas, una cifra que, a su juicio, acredita un "frenazo importante" en la destrucción de empleo que se venía registrando en meses anteriores.
Durante una rueda de prensa en la Cámara Baja, Alonso ha considerado que ese dato coloca a España en la senda de reducir la destrucción de empleo y el impacto de la crisis económica.
Con todo, ha insistido en que "mientras haya un solo parado" los socialistas no estarán satisfechos y no cejarán en sus esfuerzos para seguir trabajando en favor de la economía y el empleo.
Ha reiterado también que el Gobierno y el PSOE continuarán atendido a los desempleados desde todos los ámbitos pertinentes.
