Repsol-YPF estudia en la actualidad una reducción contable del 4 por ciento en sus reservas por un cambio de normativa en Bolivia, dijo el martes un portavoz de la empresa.
"Se trata de un apunte contable que no afecta para nada nuestro negocio", dijo un portavoz de Repsol.
Banesto Bolsa indicó en una nota a clientes que ve un escaso efecto en el valor de la empresa por el ajuste. "Estimamos poco impacto en la valoración de Repsol por dejar de contabilizar Bolivia", señaló la nota.
Bolivia introdujo un nueva normativa en 2009 que prohíbe a las empresas registrar los recursos naturales del país.
El cuatro por ciento de las reservas probadas de petróleo de la empresa equivale a 90 millones de barriles de crudo.
La semana pasada, la compañía brasileña Petrobras, dijo que había reducido en un 1,5 por ciento sus reservas contables en Bolivia debido al mismo cambio de normativa.
A las 0958 horas, las acciones de Repsol bajaban en bolsa un 0,60 por ciento a 18,34 euros, en un mercado bajista.
