La líder y diputada nacional de UPyD, Rosa Díez, tiene un sueño: que su formación sea la tercera española en las próximas europeas del 7 de junio.
Aunque es consciente de que ese objetivo es "difícil" si no es a través de su figura, Díez ha asegurado —en TVE— que es "un reto viable", al margen de posibles listas conjuntas de partidos nacionalistas de varias comunidades.
En las elecciones al Congreso del año pasado, UPyD obtuvo poco más de 300.000 votos, CiU 770.000 e IU 960.000.
No obstante, Díez ha querido desligarse de ese escenario porque "entonces no teníamos mucha presencia".
"Muchos ciudadanos se enteraron de que nos presentábamos después de las elecciones", ha afirmado Díez.
Reconocer a los miembros de la formación
Lo que sí que ha reconocido la diputada de UPyD es que es difícil lograr que la gente reconozca sus siglas "y a los otros miembros de la formación".
El cabeza de lista para las europeas, Francisco Sosa Wagner, es catedrático de Derecho de la Universidad de León y fue miembro del tribunal ante el que el presidente del Gobierno, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, defendió su tesina.
