La Infanta Cristina ha inaugurado hoy la IX edición del salón Sonimagfoto, que reunirá hasta el próximo 7 de octubre la oferta de casi cuatrocientas marcas dedicadas al mundo de la imagen digital en el recinto de Fira de Barcelona, en Montjuïc.
La feria, que prevé 110.000 visitantes, presentará las últimas novedades del sector, entre las que se incluyen cámaras que disparan automáticamente al detectar sonrisas, compactas de hasta doce megapíxeles capaces de captar diez instantáneas por segundo o modelos profesionales que alcanzan los 21 megapíxeles.
Los representantes de las principales marcas expositoras, como Nikon, Canon, Olympus o Sony, indican que las cámaras digitales se han popularizado entre la población y que en la actualidad los usuarios exigen mejores prestaciones en resolución, diseño o sencillez en el manejo.
Los teléfonos móviles tienen cada vez mayor presencia en el ámbito de la captura de la imagen, con prestaciones fotográficas más potentes y de mayor calidad, y que se presentan como una alternativa a las compactas más sencillas.
La IX edición de Sonimagfoto incluye también otros espacios, como una veintena de exposiciones fotográficas, un aula para aprender las nuevas técnicas de tratamiento y postproducción de la imagen o un taller que enseñará a crear 'blogs' fotográficos.
Según un informe presentado por la organización del Salón, las ventas de cámaras digitales superaron en 2006 los 2,7 millones de unidades, con un aumento del 13,3% respecto al año anterior.
