El presidente francés, Nicolas Sarkozy, remodeló hoy su Gobierno con el nombramiento de Brice Hortefeux como ministro del Interior, en sustitución de Michele Alliot-Marie, que se ocupará ahora de la cartera de Justicia, y con la llegada al Ejecutivo de un sobrino del ex jefe del Estado François Mitterrand.
La remodelación del Gobierno, la tercera desde su llegada al Elíseo en mayo de 2007, ha sido mayor de lo previsto inicialmente, cuando Sarkozy se había planteado reemplazar sólo a los ministros que habían sido elegidos en las pasadas elecciones al Parlamento Europeo.
La responsable de Interior, Michele Alliot-Marie, se ocupará de Justicia y será reemplazada por Brice Hortefeux, hasta ahora ministro de Asuntos Sociales.
Fréderic Mitterrand, sobrino del ex presidente francés y actual responsable de la Academia Francesa de Roma, ocupará la cartera de Cultura en sustitución de Christine Albanel, que abandona el Ejecutivo.
Michel Mercier, tesorero del partido centrista MoDem, se encargará del Espacio Rural, lo que le alejará de la formación que dirige François Bayrou.
