Dos japonenses, dos ucranianos, una coreana y un chino han sido los pianistas que han superado la segunda fase del 51 Concurso Internacional de Piano Premio 'Jaén' y que disputan hoy la semifinal de este certamen musical que organiza la Diputación Provincial de Jaén.
La actuación tiene lugar en el Nuevo Teatro Infanta Leonor de la capital jiennense y en ella se dan cita seis jóvenes intérpretes: Shinnosuke Inugai, y Sugano Masanori (Japón); Antonii Baryshevskyi y Kateryna Titova (Ucrania); Jae-Kyung Yoo (Corea del Sur) y Jingjing Wang (China).
Los participantes en esta tercera fase clasificatoria deben interpretar de memoria, durante un tiempo máximo de 50 minutos, una primera obra elegida de un listado de compositores románticos entre los que están Brahms, Chopin, Schumann, Liszt, Franck, Mendelssohn y Mussorlsky; una segunda seleccionada entre piezas musicales compuestas por Debussy o Ravel; y una tercera obra de importancia pianística que haya sido creada por Bartók, Prokofieff, Rachmaninov o Messiaen u otros compositores del siglo XX y XXI.
Esta edición será la primera en la historia de este concurso en la que la tercera prueba eliminatoria se disputará en el Nuevo Teatro Infanta Leonor de Jaén, que ya acogió el pasado jueves el concierto inaugural del Premio con una masiva afluencia de público.
Tras la actuación de los seis pianistas que han accedido a la semifinal de este certamen, el más antiguo de España en esta modalidad musical, el jurado dictaminará cuáles serán los concursantes que se clasifiquen para la prueba final con orquesta y que, por tanto, tendrán la oportunidad de conseguir el primer premio de este concurso internacional que está dotado con 25.000 euros.
El jueves 23 de abril los pianistas que superen esta tercera prueba eliminatoria, convertidos en ese momento en finalistas, viajarán a Granada para ensayar con la Orquesta "Ciudad de Granada", dirigida por Douglas Bostock, que será la que les acompañe el viernes 24 en la prueba final que tendrá lugar a partir de las 19.00 horas en el Nuevo Teatro "Infanta Leonor" de Jaén.
