El mexicano Sergio Pérez (Sauber), que se ha tenido que retirar del Gran Premio de Malasia, segunda prueba del Campeonato del Mundo de Fórmula Uno, cuando marchaba en la decimoquinta posición, ha comentado tras su abandono que un pieza desprendida del coche de Buemi le había golpeado, poniendo en marcha los extintores.
"Algo que se ha desprendido del coche de Buemi ha dado en el suelo de mi coche y se han disparado los extintores y cortado los circuitos eléctricos", explicó.
"Fue una lástima que no pudiera acabar la carrera, porque el coche marchaba muy bien", lamentó el piloto mexicano.
"Podía haber parado a cambiar los neumáticos un poco antes, pero creíamos que iba llover muy fuerte y por eso esperamos a ver si hacíamos coincidir la parada con la lluvia, pero no fue así", señaló.
En cuanto a la tercera prueba del mundial, que se disputará el próximo fin de semana en Shanghai (China), comentó: " El circuito es muy parecido a este de Sepang y también lo conozco, porque he corrido en dos ocasiones, en 2007 en una prueba de la A1GP y en 2009 en otra de la GP2 Asia".
'Checo' Pérez espera que les "vaya mejor en la sesión de clasificación que en Malasia". "Pero mi objetivo principal es seguir aprendiendo y tener mas experiencia", recalcó.
