La Sexta solicitará un canal de pago en TDT la próxima semana, según informa hoy la cadena en un comunicado.
El procedimiento administrativo que iniciará la Sexta es, según la cadena, el mismo que empleó Sogecable para cambiar su emisión de Canal+ por la de Cuatro,
El objetivo es poder comenzar a emitir antes del verano, según el comunicado, que precisa que el canal de pago, Gol TV, ocupará la frecuencia por la que se difunde ahora Hogar 10.
Los descodificadores serán abiertos y universales, tal y como exige el Gobierno, según la cadena.
El pasado día 8, el Ministerio de Industria hizo público un comunicado en el que señalaba que los operadores de televisión privada de ámbito nacional que quieran emitir televisión digital terrestre (TDT) de pago podían pedir ya la autorización necesaria a este Departamento.
El Ministerio puntualizaba que la autorización para prestar el servicio de TDT de pago requerirá un informe previo preceptivo del Consejo de Estado que después tendrá que ser aprobado por el Consejo de Ministros.
