Los tripulantes de cabina de pasajeros de Iberia han sido convocados por los sindicatos a cuatro jornadas de huelga ante la "reiterada negativa" de la dirección de la compañía aérea a firmar el convenio colectivo.
Los paros se extenderán los próximos días 26 y 27 de octubre, así como el 10 y 11 de noviembre.
Tras conocerse la convocatoria, Iberia señaló que no entiende la propuesta de huelga por parte de los tripulantes de cabina de pasajeros que prestan sus servicios en la compañía aérea, cuando "las negociaciones siguen abiertas", indicó a Efe un portavoz de la empresa.
Las fuentes indicaron que la empresa lo que pretende es negociar un convenio a largo plazo, y "no sólo por cuatro meses", y que este nuevo acuerdo debe tener en cuenta la situación económica actual que están pasando las compañías aéreas, y el Plan Estratégico de viabilidad de la aerolínea.
Por su parte, el Comité de Trabajadores Asamblearios (CTA) y el Sindicato Independiente de Tripulantes de Cabina de Pasajeros de Líneas Aéreas (SITCPLA) explicaron que reclaman para los 4.300 trabajadores del colectivo un aumento salarial, tras cuatro años de congelación del sueldo.
Detallan que este colectivo ha sufrido más congelaciones salariales que otros de Iberia, ya que, recuerdan, que tanto los pilotos como el personal de tierra obtuvieron un 3,5 por ciento de aumento salarial para 2008, y, adicionalmente, los pilotos consiguieron el 0,6 por ciento para 2009.
Las organizaciones sindicales aseguran que son conscientes de la situación económica general y la específica de la compañía, y explican que, tras tres meses de negociación, la dirección de la compañía "pretende subsumir este convenio en un plan de viabilidad, que aun desconocemos".
