El secretario provincial del PSOE de Almería, Martín Soler, ha dicho hoy en Jaén que la decisión del secretario general del PSOE andaluz, Manuel Chaves, de optar a su reelección en el próximo congreso es una "buena noticia" y ha considerado "innecesario" el planteamiento de un cambio.
A preguntas de los periodistas, Soler ha dicho que se trata de una "idea estupenda" y una "buena noticia" puesto que Chaves es "el mejor secretario general posible" que cuenta con una "eficacia probada" como presidente de la Junta de Andalucía.
"Si tenemos al mejor presidente de la Junta y el mejor secretario general, plantear cambios es innecesario", ha apostillado el secretario provincial y consejero de Agricultura, quien cree que esta candidatura lanza un "mensaje que tranquiliza al partido y nos da serenidad para abordar todas las tareas pendientes".
Soler ha insistido en que Chaves ha tenido y tiene todo su apoyo, puesto que se trata de un "ejemplo de actitud y de compromiso" además de ser un "referente moral que ha trascendido los límites del partido y se ha convertido en un referente del pueblo andaluz".
Sobre su continuidad al frente del PSOE provincial de Almería, Soler no ha desvelado su decisión aunque sí ha precisado que se va a abrir a partir de mañana un proceso de reflexión interna para así "tomar la decisión más adecuada", que será comunicada inmediatamente a la Ejecutiva Provincial.
