El ministro de Sanidad, Bernat Soria, ha expresado su deseo de que el Consejo Interterritorial de Salud, que se celebra hoy, esté marcado por el "consenso" y la "concertación" en lugar de por la "confrontación", como ocurrió en la pasada legislatura.
Soria ha hecho estas declaraciones momentos antes de reunirse con los consejeros de Sanidad, en el primer Consejo de "la historia" en el que se debatirán los criterios de financiación del Sistema Nacional de Salud, con el fin de garantizar su "sostenibilidad".
De hecho, este asunto motivó que los consejeros del PP se levantaran de la última reunión convocada en la pasada legislatura, al no estar incluida la revisión del modelo de financiación en el orden del día.
El titular de Sanidad ha recordado que ha ofrecido un pacto por la Sanidad, que ha sido "muy bien recibido" por todos los responsables del ramo con quienes se ha entrevistado, así como por los partidos políticos con representación en el Congreso.
El objetivo de este acuerdo sanitario persigue tratar de garantizar el mantenimiento del sistema de salud como "un patrimonio de todos los españoles".
En este primer Consejo, máximo órgano de cooperación entre la Administración sanitaria y las comunidades, se debatirá un Real Decreto para la instalación de desfibriladores y se evaluará la Estrategia del Cáncer que, según el ministro, contiene datos "positivos" tras dos años de aplicación.
