El Tribunal Supremo ha confirmado la sentencia del Tribunal Superior de Justicia del País Vasco que establecía que el futbolista Iban Zubiaurre debería pagar 5 millones de euros a la Real Sociedad por romper unilateralmente su contrato y fichar por el Athletic de Bilbao.
Según han informado a EFE fuentes del equipo vizcaíno, el Supremo ha confirmado el fallo del TSJPV de octubre de 2006, que rechazaba los recursos contra la sentencia de un juzgado donostiarra que condenaba a Iban Zubiaurre, con el Athletic como responsable subsidiario, a abonar 5 millones de euros por romper unilateralmente el contrato que le vinculaba a la Real Sociedad.
