El clásico que debían disputar hoy el Olympique de Marsella y el París Saint-Germain fue suspendido a causa de los casos de gripe A registrados en el equipo de la capital, informaron fuentes policiales.
El encuentro iba a disputarse en el Velódromo marsellés a partir de las 21.00 horas locales (20.00 GMT).
La decisión de suspenderlo se produjo después de que el PSG informara de un tercer caso de gripe A en su plantilla, sin indicar de que jugador se trataba.
Según medios locales, Ludovic Giuly y Mamadou Sakho fueron los dos primeros jugadores contagiados con la enfermedad, mientras que Jérémy Clément es el tercero que padece el mal.
El club señaló que otros dos miembros del grupo tienen los síntomas de la gripe A, que según los medios son el jugador Loris Arnaud y un miembro del equipo técnico.
La decisión de suspender el partido fue mal recibida en Marsella, donde los aficionados locales provocaron diversos incidentes y enfrentamientos con las fuerzas del orden y con aficionados del equipo rival.
En un balance provisional la policía señaló que había seis heridos leves, entre ellos un agente y un aficionado del PSG.
El partido, un clásico que siempre es calificado de alto riesgo, fue anulado el mismo día en el que iba a producirse, por lo que muchos aficionados del PSG habían viajado a Marsella.
El equipo local se quejó de que no se suspendiera antes el encuentro.
