The Black Keys, que hasta el momento se habían resistido a presentar su aclamado "El Camino" en España, han anunciado hoy un único concierto en nuestro país, que tendrá lugar el 28 de noviembre en el Palacio de los Deportes de la Comunidad de Madrid y cuyas entradas saldrán a la venta el 26 de abril.
Situado en los primeros puestos de las listas de los mejores discos del 2011 de medios como Time o Rolling Stone; el último trabajo de los estadounidenses, mezcla del rock más primitivo con momentos blues, funk y garage, protagonizará uno de los conciertos más esperados del año, como informa su promotora en una nota.
Ganadores de tres Grammys con "Brothers" (2010), su anterior trabajo, los componentes principales de la banda, el batería Patrick Carney y el cantante y guitarrista Dan Auerbach, han facturado en los últimos años éxitos como "Tighten Up" o el reciente "Lonely Boy" cuyo vídeo posee más de once millones de visitas en Youtube.
Con siete álbumes de estudio a sus espaldas, entre los que destacan "The Big Come Up", "Rubber Factory" y "Attack And Release"; The Black Keys acompañaron en 2008 a Devo en un show ante el presidente Barack Obama.
El concierto anunciado hoy se incluye en el calendario de actos por el 30 aniversario de Doctor Music, una de las promotoras más veteranas del panorama nacional.
Las entradas para este único espectáculo, que irán desde los 32 a los 46 euros, saldrán a la venta el jueves 26 de abril a las 10:00 horas a través de www.doctormusic.com y www.ticketmaster.com, además de en establecimientos como Fnac o Carrefour.
