La Policía Nacional ha detenido a 32 personas de nacionalidad china en la que consideran la mayor operación contra la piratería audiovisual de los últimos años y en la que se han incautado de cientos de miles de copias musicales y videográficas preparadas para su distribución y soportes vírgenes.
Según ha informado la Dirección General de la Policía y de la Guardia Civil, los arrestos en esta operación, denominada "Talgo", han tenido lugar en Madrid, Ávila, Aranda de Duero (Burgos), Burgos, Córdoba, Écija (Sevilla), Guadalajara, Segovia, Soria e Irún.
En los almacenes registrados se han requisado decenas de torres "politostadoras" que suman un total de 506 "bocas" para producir las copias "piratas".
La operación ha sido llevada a cabo por agentes de la Comisaría General de Policía Judicial, junto con las Brigadas Provinciales.
A las 13:00 horas de hoy se expondrán los efectos incautados en el Complejo Policial de Canillas, donde el secretario de Estado de Seguridad, Antonio Camacho, y el ministro de Cultura, César Antonio Molina, ofrecerán una rueda de prensa, junto a los responsables policiales de esta operación.EFE
