El tribunal de la Audiencia Nacional que juzga el caso de las identificaciones erróneas de los militares fallecidos en el accidente del Yak-42 aceptó el miércoles la declaración como testigos de dos forenses turcos que se habían desplazado a Madrid a petición de una asociación que agrupa a familiares de víctimas.
El juez Javier Gómez Bermúdez, presidente del tribunal, aceptó su declaración después de que otros tres testigos turcos que tenían previsto testificar por videoconferencia no lo pudieran hacer por un problema legal.
"El tribunal va a admitir las dos testificales propuestas con carácter testifical de Bülent Sam y Ömer Müslümanoglu", dijo el magistrado, entre el aplauso de algunos de los asistentes a la sala.
Gómez Bermúdez explicó que había rechazado a estos dos testigos propuestos por la fiscalía y acusaciones particulares anteriormente porque había aceptado ya otros similares, pero que los admitía ahora tras haberse frustrado la declaración de los otros dos médicos turcos que también habían participado en las autopsias.
Tras el accidente del Yak-42 en mayo de 2003 en Turquía, hubo errores de identificación en 30 de los 62 militares españoles fallecidos.
En el juicio están acusados el general de Sanidad Vicente Navarro, el comandante médico José Ramírez y el capitán médico Miguel Sáez, por una presunta falsificación documental. La Fiscalía pide para el primero cinco años de cárcel y para sus subordinados, cuatro y medio.
