Actualizado:
Las ventas de viviendas de segunda mano en Estados Unidos cayeron en diciembre un 16,7 por ciento, mostró un estudio el lunes, en un dato que fue peor que lo esperado por el mercado.
La Asociación Nacional de Agentes Inmobiliarios dijo que las ventas cayeron a una tasa anualizada de 5,45 millones de unidades, el mayor descenso de este indicador desde que comenzó a registrarse en 1968.
El dato de noviembre se mantuvo sin revisión en una tasa de 6,54 millones de unidades vendidas.
Los analistas consultados por Reuters esperaban un descenso de las ventas a un ritmo de 5,90 millones de unidades.
