El actual campeón de Europa, el Barcelona, sufrió el martes su primera derrota en 10 partidos en la Liga de Campeones al caer 2-1 en el Nou Camp ante el Rubin Kazan ruso, mientras el Sevilla aplastó el martes en Alemania al VfB Stuttgart 3-1.
En Barcelona, Aleksandr Ryazantsev y Gokdeniz Karadeniz marcaron para el Rubin, mientras que Zlatan Ibrahimovic anotó el gol del Barca en el partido por el Grupo F del torneo.
El campeón ruso se puso en ventaja a los dos minutos en el estadio Nou Camp cuando el centrocampista Ryazantsev sacó un potente remate de media distancia que superó la estirada del portero Víctor Valdés.
A los 48 minutos, Xavi dio un pase a Ibrahimovic, el sueco dominó el balón con el pecho y definió con un remate cruzado para calmar al público del equipo culé.
Pero a 20 minutos del final, el argentino Alejandro Domínguez dio un pase en profundidad para Karadeniz, quien tras entrar en el área remató con calidad para darle la victoria al visitante.
El Barcelona mostró momentos de buen juego y atacó hasta el final pero no pudo conseguir el empate.
EL SEVILLA, LÍDER
Mientras, el Sevilla, con dos tantos del defensa Sebastien Squillaci, suma tres victorias en otros tantos partidos en Liga de Campeones y lidera el Grupo G con nueve puntos.
Squillaci saltó para conectar un pase cruzado de Adriano y sumar el primer gol en el minuto 23, mientras Jesús Navas añadió el segundo cuando el portero Jens Lehmann no consiguió despejar, enviando el balón en la trayectoria del defensa sevillista que transformó a los 10 minutos de la segunda parte.
Squillaci marcó de cabeza su segundo gol en el minuto 72, tras quedarse desmarcado en el segundo palo, antes de que el sustituto Elson lograra el tanto de consolación para el equipo local con un bonito disparo de falta dos minutos más tarde.
El Stuttgart, que tuvo algunas ocasiones en la primera mitad, sólo suma dos puntos en los tres partidos.
