Actualizado:
El presidente del Gobierno español, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, dijo hoy que "es probable" que lo peor de la crisis económica haya pasado ya, aunque reconoció que todavía "estamos lejos de una situación favorable".
Rodríguez Zapatero respondió así al ser preguntado por las cifras publicadas hoy por el Banco de España, que calcula que el PIB español cayó el 1,8 por ciento en el primer trimestre y el 2,9 por ciento en el último año, las mayores bajadas desde 1970.
El jefe del Ejecutivo reconoció que estos datos son "muy negativos", pero los enmarcó en una recesión mundial sin precedentes desde la Segunda Guerra Mundial.
