Durante su comparencia en La Moncloa para hacer balance de 2010, al presidente Zapatero se le preguntó por todas las cuestiones relacionadas con la actualidad, incluida la del reciente cierre de CNN+.
"Estoy triste porque CNN+ era la cadena de televisión que más veía", confesó Zapatero antes de resaltar "el valor cívico" de la cadena que echó el cierre el pasado martes."Nunca oí una palabra malsonante o un insulto en esa cadena y eso es de valorar".
No quisó aventurar si la sustitución de un canal de información 24 horas por Gran Hermano 24 horas es un síntoma de que algo va mal en la sociedad. "Sólo espero que no echen la culpa al Gobierno", dijo con cierto rastro de ironía.
