Primero fueron La bola de Cristal y Barrio Sésamo, después Los Mundos de Yupi y ahora lo más nuevo en programas infantiles se llama In the night garden, una serie británica de los creadores de los Teletubbies que ha cosechado un verdadero éxito. Tanto es así que Televisión Española ha adquirido los derechos de emisión de esta producción de la BBC, difundió ayer el portal web especializado FórmulaTv. La misma fuente aseguró que la cadena pública carece por ahora de una fecha de estreno, si bien todo parece indicar que la serie aterrizará en breve en su parrilla.
In the night garden pretende que los pequeños de entre uno a cuatro años se relajen. Su lanzamiento fue respaldado por los espectadores y el canal temático que la emite en Reino Unido dobló la audiencia hasta alcanzar el medio millón de televidentes.
La serie está protagonizada por marionetas y está grabada en un bosque real. Los Tombliboos son unos curiosos trillizos que raramente se separan y sienten una gran debilidad por la música. Conviven pacíficamente con la muñeca Upsy Daisy, un ser optimista y seguro de sí mismo, que adora bailar y tiene como mejor amigo al oso azul Igglepiggle. Éste necesita ser reconfortadomuy a menudo.
El sexteto de personajes se completa con Makka Pakka, un ser pequeño que colecciona guijarros y al que le encanta lavar las carasde sus compañeros.
