El Cádiz ha presentado, ante el Comité de Competición de la Federación Española de Fútbol, un recurso contra el Hércules por posible alineación indebida de su jugador Kiko, en el partido disputado el pasado domingo, correspondiente a la última jornada de Liga de Segunda División, que concluyó con marcador de 1-1, resultado que certificó el descenso de categoría de los gaditanos a Segunda B.
Fuentes del club amarillo confirmaron hoy a Europa Press que el recurso ya obra en poder del Comité de Competición y, en el mismo, se aduce que Kiko, un juvenil, estuvo 58 minutos sobre el terreno de juego, pese a no estar inscrito legalmente para ello. "No sabemos cuántos días tardarán en analizar el recurso y en dictaminar qué se decide", indicaron desde el Cádiz, aunque se estima que durante la próxima semana podría haber noticias al respecto.
Todo dependerá de la interpretación que dé el Comité al hecho aunque, desde el club que presidente Antonio Muñoz se recuerda que "el Cádiz está en la obligación" de recurrir a esta vía legal para defender sus intereses.
En caso de aceptarse las tesis del Cádiz, el partido se le daría por ganado al conjunto andaluz, como ya ocurriera en la campaña 2004-05, cuando el propio equipo cadista sacó adelante una reclamación idéntica ante el Celta por alineación indebida de Toni del Moral.
Pero la trascendencia de la decisión que tome Competición va más allá incluso, porque, en caso de ganar el partido el Cádiz, sería otro equipo de Andalucía, el Córdoba --que se salvó en esa última jornada del campeonato--, el que quedaría condenado a descender a Segunda B.
