Coentrao, en un partido con el Real Madrid.
MADRID.- El Real Madrid y el Mónaco han acordado la cesión del defensa internacional Fabio Coentrao hasta el 20 de junio de 2016, informa el club madridista en un comunicado.
El conjunto monegasco refuerza así el lateral izquierdo de su zaga después de haber traspasado al París Saint-Germain a Layvin Kurzawa, una de las grandes promesas del fútbol francés.
Su proyecto ha agradado más al jugador, que también tenía la opción del Inter, pese a quedarse fuera de la Liga de Campeones al caer eliminado ante el Valencia.
Fabio Coentrao tiene contrato con el Real Madrid hasta junio de 2018 tras firmar en verano de 2011 a petición del técnico luso Jose Mourinho. Su fichaje le costó al club blanco treinta millones de euros.
El lateral zurdo, de 27 años, no ha llegado a cuajar plenamente en el Real Madrid por su falta de continuidad por las lesiones y por ser habitualmente la segunda opción tras el brasileño marcelo.
Los problemas físicos del internacional portugués le han perseguido en estas temporadas. En la última por ejemplo, tan solo participó en nueve encuentros en Liga, en cuatro en la Liga de Campeones, en uno en la Copa del Rey, Mundial de Clubes, Supercopa de España y Europa.
En estos años en el Real Madrid acumula un título de Liga, una Copa del Rey, una Supercopa de España, una Liga de Campeones, una Supercopa de Europa y un Mundial de Clubes.
