Los tres españoles que se mantienen vivos juegan hoy. Al menos uno de ellos caerá, ya que Almagro y Verdasco se cruzan en un duelo entre dos de los mejores jugadores sobre tierra. El que gane pasará a cuartos y allí se encontrará, previsiblemente, a Nadal, que no debería tener problemas contra Bellucci.
