La jueza de Instrucción número 32 de Madrid, Mercedes Gutiérrez Fernández, ha citado para mañana al ex secretario general del PP y fundador del nuevo partido Foro Asturias, Francisco Álvarez-Cascos, para que declare como imputado en un delito de injurias, por calificar de "camarilla de la Policía Judicial" a los funcionarios de la Comisaría General de Policía en lo relativo a su actuación durante la investigación de la trama Gürtel, informa Europa Press.
La citación se produce después de que la Audiencia de Madrid estimara el recurso que interpuso tanto la Fiscalía como la asociación Preeminencia del Derecho contra la decisión inicial de la instructora de archivar la denuncia, que fue presentada a raíz de una entrevista radiofónica concedida por Álvarez-Cascos en abril de 2010.
Según la denuncia de la citada asociación, que después se apartó de la causa, Cascos señaló durante esa charla que "hay una camarilla de la Policía Judicial, instalada en Canillas [servicios centrales de la Policía], dedicada a preconstituir pruebas". "En mi caso añadió, claramente dedicada a preconstituir una prueba falsa. De eso doy testimonio".
