La adjudicación del AVE por el centro de Barcelona tendrá que esperar. El consejo de administración del Adif retiró este punto del orden del día a última hora. No quiso explicar el motivo, pero detrás planean los graves problemas en las obras en su trazado por L'Hospitalet.
El pleno del Ayuntamiento de Barcelona acordó ayer por unanimidad pedir al Gobierno retrasar las obras del AVE "el tiempo necesario" hasta que los informes técnicos garanticen que los trabajos se llevan a cabo con total seguridad. CiU, ERC y PP también reclamaron la dimisión de la Ministra de Fomento, Magdalena Álvarez, y el cambio de trazado del AVE por el centro de Barcelona.Por contra, la Cámara de Comercio de Barcelona mostró ayer su "total disconformidad" por la decisión de Adif de paralizar la concesión. Según los representantes del empresariado, el túnel del AVE descongestionará Cercanías.
El túnel entre Sants y Sagrera, que pasaría mayoritariamente bajo la calle Mallorca, tiene una longitud prevista de 5,6 kilómetros. Las obras, que debían hacerse con tuneladora, tenían que empezar en enero. Adif explicó ayer que "quizás" se estime la adjudicación en el próximo consejo, posiblemente el 30 de noviembre. El Patronato de la Sagrada Família y la Plataforma AVE pel Litoral solicitaron esta semana a la Audiencia Nacional la suspensión cautelar de las obras por el centro.
