El presidente del Tribunal Supremo (TS) y del Consejo General del Poder Judicial (CGPJ), Francisco José Hernando, consideró ayer que la propuesta presentada por Juan José Ibarretxe es "anticonstitucional e ilegal", según Efe.
"Es lamentable que se produzca por quien está obligado a estar sujeto a la Constitución y al resto del ordenamiento jurídico", señaló tras inaugurar las IV Jornadas de Comunicación y Justicia en Pamplona.
Para Hernando "quien ilegalmente pretende que se realice un referéndum, para el cual no tiene en absoluto competencia, se pone enfrente de la Constitución". Al ser preguntado sobre qué es lo que se puede hacer, respondió que se debe movilizar quien tiene capacidad para hacerlo y que si no lo harán los Tribunales.
