“No pretendemos aprovecharnos de los vacíos legales. Sólo somos consumidores de marihuana cansados de escondernos”. Así define Pedro Álvaro Zamora la asociación que preside: Private Cannabis Club , el primer local de Madrid donde se puede consumir esta droga de forma legal.
“La ley española no prohíbe el consumo propio”, aseguró Zamora. “Por eso nuestra sede está legalmente inscrita en el registro de asociaciones de la Comunidad”, añadió.
Allí, los más de 80 socios que se han unido al club en su primer mes de vida pueden conseguir, por seis euros el gramo, un máximo de 50 gramos a la semana. “Somos partidarios del consumo responsable”, manifestó el presidente. La cuota de asociación, de 120 euros al año, se destina, además, a “asegurar el suministro de productos de calidad para los socios”.
Uno de los objetivos del club es luchar por la legalizaciónAl principio los fundadores intentaron cultivar su propia marihuana, pero la policía lo descubrió y destrozó su cosecha. “Nos obligan a recurrir al mercado ilegal”, protestó Zamora. De hecho, uno de los objetivos del club es luchar por la legalización pero, de momento, se conforman con fumar “donde no molestamos a nadie”, concluyó el presidente.
