Alemania y la Comisión Europea aplauden la reforma laboral aprobada por el Gobierno de Rajoy. La canciller germana, Angela Merkel, ha llegado incluso a poner la reforma como ejemplo de las medidas para salir de la crisis.
A través de su portavoz, Steffen Seibert, el Gobierno alemán cree que la medida "muestra la determinación" del Ejecutivo español para atajar los problemas económicos del país y volver al crecimiento.
En ese sentido también se ha expresado el portavoz de Asuntos Económicos, Amadeu Altafaj, quien cree que la reforma va "en la buena dirección" debido a "algunos elementos". "Por ejemplo la reducción de la importante brecha de protección del empleo entre los contratos temporales y los indefinidos o una mayor flexibilidad en la negociación colectiva, nos parece que van en la buena dirección para reducir la segmentación del mercado laboral y dar más flexibilidad a las empresas".
La Comisión cree que la reforma tiene una "gran amplitud" y afronta "varios problemas estructurales que hay en el mercado laboral español, como la negociación colectiva o las políticas de empleo".
Desde Berlín, destacan que el Ejecutivo de Rajoy mantiene el "ritmo de las reformas" que se marcó al llegar a La Moncloa y confía en que la reforma laboral traiga más empleo al mercado laborla español, así como más competitividad y más crecimiento.
Bruselas hará un análisis de la reforma laboral para que sea discutida por los ministros de Economía del Eurogrupo y el Ecofin. El portavoz comunitario cree que España tiene un nivel de paro "inaceptablemente alto, sobre todo entre los jóvenes" y que el mercado laboral "no ha respondido de forma suficientemente flexible al cambio de contexto económico". Por ello, "la Comisión saluda el hecho de que el nuevo Gobierno haya hecho de la reforma laboral una de sus prioridades", ha señalado Altafaj.
