Del congreso del PSC que se celebra el 18, 19 y 20 de julio no parece que vaya a salir el mandato de recuperar el grupo parlamentario propio en el Congreso. Pero sí se evidenciará que el debate sigue muy vivo. Y es que a la dirección actual, pese a no ser partidaria de recuperar ese instrumento, tampoco le interesa cerrarse puertas a nada. De entre las 6000 enmiendas presentadas a la ponencia oficial cuatro de ellas defienden recuperar la “voz propia” en la cámara baja.
La más clara es la de la agrupación de l’Eixample, en Barcelona, que apela al carácter “federal” del PSOE para resolver este asunto y apunta que el grupo no sólo les permitiría defender mejor los intereses ciudadanos sino también mejorar las expectativas electorales. Todo ello, sin dejar de lado la relación de colaboración y lealtad mutua con el PSOE.
Diversas enmiendas de las agrupaciones locales y de las juventudes también apuestan por profundizar en el carácter federal del Estado e incluso promover una reforma de la Constitución en este sentido. De hecho, el propio PSC ha presentado enmiendas a la ponencia del congreso del PSOE en este sentido.
Derecho a decidir
Otra enmienda que llama la atención es de la agrupación de Vilanova i la Geltrú, que apuesta por aceptar el derecho de autodeterminación “si lo piden una mayoría de los catalanes”.
