La Guardia Civil ha rescatado a 24 galgos que se encontraban encerrados, sin agua y en "muy deficientes" condiciones higiénico-sanitarias en una finca rústica de Parla, y ha acusado de dos delitos a su propietario, al que hace dos años ya se le retiraron varios mastines y un pony por estar en mal estado.
Según ha informado la Comandancia de la Guardia Civil de Madrid, los perros, que ya han sido trasladados a un centro de acogida cercano a la zona, se encontraban encerrados en una habitación de la casa, en la que no tenían agua para beber y vivían rodeados de sus propios excrementos.
Durante la inspección de la vivienda, los agentes del Servicio para la Protección de la Naturaleza (SEPRONA) hallaron varias incoherencias en las cartillas sanitarias de los animales, que posteriormente revelaron que habían sido falsificadas ya que los datos recogidos en ellas no coincidían con la identidad verdadera de los galgos.
Además, el propietario reconoció ante los agentes que había medicado y vacunado ilegalmente a los galgos en varias ocasiones, por lo que la Guardia Civil, además de un delito de falsificación documental, le imputa otro de intrusismo.
La intervención del SEPRONA pudo realizarse gracias a la colaboración de un ciudadano anónimo que se dirigió a los que patrullaban la zona para informarles sobre la situación en la que se encontraban los canes.
