El retén de incendios F.J.L.R., nacido en Arnedo hace 43 años, ha fallecido hoy en la torreta de incendios de la Sierra de Alcarama, en Cornago (La Rioja), tras recibir un disparo de una pistola propiedad del presunto agresor, su compañero de trabajo J.M.V.O., de 34 años, quien ha sido detenido.
Fuentes de la investigación han precisado que el suceso se produjo hacia las 14.45 horas en un altercado entre la víctima y el presunto homicida, vecino de Calahorra, quien, al parecer, ha usado una pistola de su propiedad de nueve milímetros.
El servicio de emergencias sólo pudo confirmar la muerte "in situ"
El SOS-Rioja, dependiente del Gobierno regional, ha recibido una llamada desde el retén de incendios forestales de Cornago, en la que se indicaba que uno de sus componentes estaba herido por arma de fuego.
Hasta el lugar del suceso se ha traslado, en un helicóptero de incendios forestales, personal de los recursos de emergencias del Servicio Riojano de Salud, que ha certificado "in situ" la muerte de la persona herida tras no poder hacer nada por salvar su vida.
También han acudido agentes forestales y la Guardia Civil para instruir las diligencias y la investigación del suceso.
