El Gobierno va desgranando algunos detalles de su plan de lucha contra el fraude fiscal y que aprobará mañana viernes en Consejo de Ministros. Ayer un primer apunte lo dio Mariano Rajoy, cuando anunció que se limitaría a 2.500 euros el efectivo que podría manejarse en las transacciones con profesionales. Esta mañana lo ha hecho el ministro de Hacienda, en el debate de convalidación del real decreto ley de amnistía fiscal y de subida del Impuesto de Sociedades que se sigue en estos momentos en el Congreso de los Diputados.
Cristóbal Montoro ha dado una mínima pincelada en los últimos minutos de su intervención inicial. "El Gobierno va a obligar ia informar sobre cuentas abiertas en el extranjero". Y tendrán que informar tanto aquellos que figuren en esas cuentas como titulares beneficiarios o bien como autorizados o con poder. La advertencia, por tanto, se dirige a los que tienen cuentas en países menos transparentes, caso de Suiza. Precisamente la colaboración entre varias administraciones fiscales europeas permitió a Hacienda descubrir un millar de cuentas opacas en el país helvético hace dos años.
En una nota de prensa divulgada después, el Ministerio precisó que la obligación de informar se incluirá como disposición adicional al proyecto de ley de medidas antifraude y se extenderá "a otros títulos, valores o derechos representativos del capital social, fondos propios o patrimonio de entidades, así como de seguros de vida o invalidez, bienes muebles e inmuebles contratados con entidades establecidas en el extranjero".
En el pleno, Montoro ha defendido el real decreto ley insistiendo en que traerá más dinero a las arcas del Estado, lo que permitirá a España ser mirada con mayor "confianza". Y como en tantas otras ocasiones, negó que la amnistía fiscal impulsada por el Ejecutivo sea eso, un "perdón" a los defraudadores, sino una "regularización de activos ocultos" cuyo afloramiento será "positivo" para la "normalización de la actividad económica". Enseguida llovieron los abucheos desde la bancada de la oposición.
