Si hiciéramos una encuesta entre los españoles, muchos nombrarían a Teruel como uno de los lugares más fríos de España. Y estarían en lo cierto, ya que la localidad aragonesa fue la que marcó el valor más bajo en la última década, con -19 grados centígrados el 26 de diciembre de 2001; -17 grados el 29 de enero de 2006; y -16,2 grados el 28 de enero de 2005.
Los datos, aportados por la Agencia Estatal de Meteorología, desvelan que los habitantes de Burgos fueron los segundos que más frío sufrieron durante la pasada década el pasado 20 de diciembre de 2000, cuando los termómetros marcaron un mínimo de -17,1 grados centígrados.
Y como si de un podium se tratara, la medalla de bronce de las bajas temperaturas en los pasados diez años se la llevó Albacete, que alcanzó los -17 grados el 29 de enero de 2006.
Por capitales de provincia, las más frías fueron Ávila, que registró -12,4 grados el 27 de enero de 2007; León, que sufrió mínimas de -11,2 grados en 2004; y Salamanca con -10,3 grados el 16 de diciembre de 2008.
