Agentes de la Policía Nacional española en San Martín de la Vega (Madrid) en la operación antiterrorista./ EFE

MADRID.- Agentes de la Policía Nacional española y de la DGST de Marruecos han detenido en San Martín de la Vega (Madrid) y en varias ciudades marroquíes a 14 supuestos miembros de una red que captaba y enviaba combatientes para el Estado Islámico o Daesh. Según fuentes policiales, la operación conjunta se ha desarrollado esta madrugada en el municipio madrileño de San Martín de la Vega, donde ha sido detenida una persona, y en las ciudades marroquíes de Fez, Casablanca, Nador, Alhucemas y Driouch.
Las investigaciones se han centrado en una red que captaba y enviaba combatientes extranjeros para unirse a las filas de la organización terrorista Daesh en la región sirio-iraquí que mantiene bajo su control, informa el ministerio del Interior.
Las actuaciones en España de la operación antiterrorista de las dos policías han sido coordinadas por el titular del juzgado número 3 de la Audiencia Nacional. La operación continúa abierta.
El pasado 28 de julio, el ministro del Interior, Jorge Fernández Díaz, indicaba que 126 combatientes terroristas, nacionales o residentes en España, se habían desplazado desde aquí a zonas de conflicto para luchar con el Estado Islámico, y de ellos, 25 han muerto inmolados o en combate.
Este año se ha desarrollado una veintena de operaciones contra el terrorismo yihadista con más de medio centenar de detenciones.
En la última de ellas, el pasado día 11, era detenido un vecino de la localidad coruñesa de Narón por apología y enaltecimiento del terrorismo por internet, al vender prendas de vestir con emblemas yihadistas y fotos de atentados del Daesh, que quedó en libertad con cargos.
También unos días antes, el 4 de agosto, la Policía alemana detuvo en Stuttgart (Alemania) a un yihadista que había huido de España tras una operación policial en la que se detuvo a una captadora del Daesh en Arrecife (Lanzarote), y que tenía una Orden Europea de Detención emitida por la Audiencia Nacional
