"El Bunga Bunga de 1811". Así definió el primer ministro italiano, Silvio Berlusconi, la pintura de Andrea Appiani que representa el Parnaso, según recoge el diario italiano Il Corriere della Sera, y que estaba detrás de Il Cavaliere y el primer ministro israelí, Benjamin Netanyahu, durante una rueda de prensa que ambos ofrecieron en Villa Madama.
Berlusconi comentó a los periodistas que Netanyahu le había preguntado por la autoría del cuadro, a lo que respondió: "Es de Andrea Appiani y representa el Parnaso, el Bunga Bunga de 1811".
El primer ministro italiano hizo también referencia a las figuras representadas en el cuadro, que aparecen medio desnudas. "Ese soy yo —dijo señalando a uno de los personajes— y este se llama Mariano Apicella —un cantante italiano amigo del primer ministro—".
Para terminar su explicación, Berlusconi añadió que "nunca hay que tomarse en serio a los que se toman demasiado en serio". "La ironía es importante", concluyó.
