MADRID. El diputado de IU-Unidad Popular, Alberto Garzón, ha bromeado este jueves respecto a su elección como el líder mejor valorado en la última encuesta del CIS y ha recordado una frase que ya pronunciaron tanto el expresidente del Gobierno Adolfo Suárez como el exlíder de IU Julio Anguita: "Queredme menos pero votadme más".
En declaraciones a La Sexta, Garzón ha agradecido a la ciudadanía su reconocimiento, pero ha puesto el foco en que todos los líderes políticos, incluido él, tienen una nota de suspenso. "Eso es un elemento de reflexión", ha constatado.
El último barómetro del Centro de Investigaciones Sociológicas sitúa a Garzón como el político mejor valorado con una nota del 4,68, por encima de otros líderes como el de Ciudadanos, Albert Rivera, que se queda con un 3,92; el secretario general de Podemos, Pablo Iglesias, con una nota de 3,78; el socialista Pedro Sánchez, a quien los ciudadanos puntúan con un 3,75; y el presidente del Gobierno en funciones Mariano Rajoy, que cosecha un 3,08.
Garzón se sitúa en el primer puesto de la lista después de que IU-UP obtuviera sólo dos diputados en las elecciones del pasado 20 de diciembre, lo que le ha llevado a bromear recordando las palabras de Suárez y Anguita.
En cualquier caso, ha señalado que el barómetro del CIS otorga a IU el mismo resultado que obtuvo en las urnas hace ya más de un mes y ahora su trabajado estará orientado a "conseguir más confianza en lo colectivo". "No importa tanto el líder individual como el proyecto colectivo que representa", ha sostenido.
