MADRID.- El candidato de IU-Unidad Popular, Alberto Garzón, ve "peligroso" que los líderes de PSOE y Podemos, Pedro Sánchez y Pablo Iglesias, busquen "parecerse" al de Ciudadanos, Albert Rivera, a quien ha retado a mantener un 'cara a cara' con el objetivo de "desmontar" sus propuestas.
En rueda de prensa este martes, Garzón ha revelado que no pudo ver completo el debate que este lunes mantuvieron los candidatos de PSOE, Podemos y Ciudadanos, pero tiene la "impresión" de que son tres partidos que "intentan imitarse unos a otros" en una pelea por el centro político.
Además, ha señalado que los tres han llegado "a puntos en común muy preocupantes", como son la defensa del libre mercado en el sector eléctrico -sector que el año pasado "saqueó a los españoles 14.000 millones de euros, ha recordado el candidato-, el mantenimiento de los compromisos militares con la OTAN, y, en tercer lugar, las "alabanzas" a la cultura de la Transición.
A su juicio, es "preocupante" que Pedro Sánchez y Pablo Iglesias, en vez de enfrentarse al "peligroso" proyecto de Ciudadanos y "desmontar sus mentiras", intenten "parecerse" a Albert Rivera y tratar de ofrecer una imagen de "moderación".
Para paliar esta situación, Garzón ha retado directamente a Rivera a mantener un debate. "Aquí estoy para poder desmontar sus mentiras y demostrar a la ciudadanía que hay un proyecto alternativo que no trata de imitar, sino poner las cosas claras y demostrar que Ciudadanos es un proyecto lesivo para la mayoría de la sociedad", ha dicho el candidato de IU-Unidad Popular.
Garzón ha recordado que él se ofreció a debatir con los candidatos de todas las listas electorales pero no obtuvo respuesta. Por ello, hace ahora este llamamiento directo a Rivera, "el único que ha dicho estar dispuesto a debatir con todo el mundo".
