El secretario general de Podemos, Pablo Iglesias, ha explicado este jueves en la Cadena Ser que ha trasladado a Pedro Sánchez su petición de dimisión de la ministra de Justicia, Dolores Delgado, por su vinculación con el excomisario de la Policía José Manuel Villarejo, y ha defendido que esta decisión no debilitaría al Gobierno.
"Habla bien de un Gobierno cuando responde con dimisiones inmediatas si se cuestiona su credibilidad. No debilita al Gobierno la dimisión, sino que da ejemplo, al actuar al contrario que el PP". Iglesias aseguró que tienen que ser coherentes y que no se pueden tener "dos varas de medir" en función de la formación política.
La petición de cese a Pedro Sánchez se produjo a través de un intercambio de mensajes telefónicos, ya que el presidente del Gobierno se encuentra de viaje en Nueva York. En ellos, Sánchez le ha transmitido, según Iglesias, "su compromiso para combatir las cloacas", pero también que quiere mantener a Delgado en el Gobierno.
Eso sí, aunque Podemos reclame la salida del Gobierno de la titular de Justicia, Iglesias ha querido dejar claro que la decisión de mantenerla no influirá en la negociación que Unidos Podemos mantiene desde el verano con el Ejecutivo para sacar adelante los Presupuestos Generales del Estado (PGE).
