El PSN ha condenado con "absoluta firmeza" los insultos y agresiones contra militantes y cargos de UPN que se registraron este sábado antes de comenzar la reunión que los regionalistas celebraron en Tafalla.
En un comunicado, los socialistas navarros han rechazado "de manera rotunda" y "sin paliativos" estas "actitudes inaceptables" que, en su opinión, "no hacen más que dificultar la legítima voluntad de la mayoría social de Navarra de resolver la grave crisis institucional y política que atenaza nuestro futuro inmediato".
En este sentido, el PSN reafirma su "firme defensa del ejercicio político basado en la ausencia total de violencia y en el respeto a la diversidad ideológica". "Quienes incumplen los principios democráticos básicos hacen imposible cualquier espacio diálogo para el acuerdo político", han subrayado los socialistas navarros.
Además, el presidente del Partido Popular de Navarra, Enrique Martín de Marcos, también ha condenado los insultos y agresiones.
El líder de los populares navarra ha hecho un llamamiento al "sentido democrático de los ciudadanos" y ha recordado que "éste pasa por respetar a todas las personas, independientemente de sus ideas y opiniones políticas".
El dirigente popular ha defendido, en un comunicado, que "la presunción de inocencia es un elemento fundamental del Estado de Derecho" y que, "en todo caso, la violencia ha de quedar fuera del tablero".
"No podemos tolerar este tipo de actos y coacciones, vengan de donde vengan. De demócratas es, en primer lugar, respetar al otro", ha concluido.
