La Ley de Sucesión, que hará rey y jefe del Estado a Felipe tras la abdicación de Juan Carlos, será debatida este miércoles en el Congreso de los Diputados en una sesión en la que previsiblimente será aprobada la continuidad monárquica con los votos a favor del PP, PSOE, UPyD y CiU. Mientras las movilizaciones para pedir un referéndum continúan en la calle por todo el país, Equo ha puesto en marcha una campaña a través de Twitter para dar respaldo a esta demanda ciudadana llamada #VotaDemocracia.
En la web www.reinicialademocracia.es/votademocracia Equo ofrece una lista con los perfiles de Twitter de todos los diputados de las formaciones que votarán sí a la Ley de Sucesión, de forma que cada ciudadano podrá enviarles con un solo click un tuit para pedirles que no voten a favor de esta medida y se deja la decisión a la ciudadanía.
".@_rubalcaba_ No decidas por mí. Quiero que se oiga mi voz, el #11J #VotaDemocracia", sería el mensaje que se le enviaría al secretario general de los socialistas clickando sobre su nombre.
"Se pretende dar un carpetazo rápido al debate sobre el modelo de Estado, imponiendo sin preguntar a la ciudadanía a Felipe VI como rey", asegura la formación ecosocialista. Sin embargo, añaden, "la ciudadanía tiene capacidad para decidir sobre un tema tan transcendente. ¿Por qué se niega ese derecho? Sres diputados: ¿van a votar contra nuestra capacidad de tomar decisiones?".
