PALMA DE MALLORCA.- La Audiencia Provincial de Baleares ha rechazado aplazar la fecha de continuación del juicio del caso Nóos, prevista para el próximo 9 de febrero, desestimando de este modo la petición del exsocio de Iñaki Urdangarin al frente del Instituto Nóos, Diego Torres, quien puso en conocimiento del tribunal que aquélla coincide con el señalamiento de nuevas fechas en relación a otra vista oral en la que está personado en la Audiencia Nacional.
Mediante una providencia, el tribunal encargado de juzgar a los 18 acusados del caso Nóos justifica que el señalamiento de la vista oral de esta causa es anterior a la de la Audiencia Nacional, por lo que debe celebrarse antes.
En su escrito, el abogado de Torres, para quien la Fiscalía Anticorrupción reclama 19 años y medio de cárcel por presuntamente apoderarse, junto a Urdangarin, de más de seis millones de euros de Baleares, Madrid y Comunidad Valenciana, señalaba de hecho que "todo enfila a pensar" que es prioritaria la celebración del juicio de Nóos, si bien dejaba en manos del tribunal deliberar al respecto.
