Nicole Barr es una niña inglesa que con solo doce años ya tiene un coeficiente intelectual digno de medirse con las grandes mentes de la Historia.

MADRID.- La inteligencia es muy relativa, y es imposible medirla con exactitud. Sin embargo, en 1916, cuando se inventó la escala de inteligencia Stanford-Binet, que mide el coeficiente intelectual en base a unas pruebas que luego arrojan un resultado numérico.
La mayor parte de la población rondaría una puntuación de 100 en la escala, y a partir de 130 ya estamos hablando de mentes superdotadas. Algunos ilustres genios de la ciencia, como Albert Einstein o Stephen Hawking, no superaron los 160 puntos.
Ahora, Nicole Barr, una niña de doce años, ha conseguido 162 puntos en el test que mide el coeficiente intelectual, dejando atrás a muchas de las consideradas como las personas más inteligentes del mundo. Barr es de nacionalidad británica, y reside en el condado de Essex.
Hasta ahora nadie tenía conocimiento de sus capacidades. Según sus padres, Nicole lleva una vida normal, es aplicada en sus estudios y su sueño es estudiar medicina y ser doctora.
Dolly Buckland, la madre de la Nicole, de 34 años, dice que está muy orgullosa de su hija. “Ella es una niña que trabaja muy duro. Se queda en el club de tareas después de clases y nunca falta”, afirmó Dolly, “desde muy pequeña encuentra errores en los libros y las revistas. Es un chica feliz y siempre está pidiendo tareas extras”.
