Unas 300 personas fueron desalojadas ayer noche por los bomberos y dos policías resultaron intoxicados leves después de que se declarase un incendio en una habitación del hotel Es Caló Playa de Formentera, en Sant Antoni de Portmany (Ibiza).
El fuego comenzó en una pequeña cocina situada en la habitación, según han explicado a Efe feutnes del cuerpo de Bomberos del Consell Insular.
Dos policías locales fueron trasladados a un centro de salud por intoxicación leve de humo y un empleado del establecimiento sufrió un corte en una mano al intentar abrir una ventana.
Según han confirmado los Bomberos, la llamada de socorro se produjo a las 22.03 horas y sólo quince minutos después se personaron en el lugar del incendio, dándolo por controlado a las 23.00 horas.
Las personas desalojadas pudieron regresar a sus habitaciones poco después de la medianoche.
Según han detallado las mismas fuentes, trabajadores del establecimiento ayudados por la Policía Local habían "casi controlado" el incendio antes de su llegada, de modo que los bomberos se limitaron a "refrescar" la zona y a extraer el humo que se había acumulado en los dos pisos.
