Unas 300 personas se han visto retenidas esta mañana en el Aeropuerto de El Prat, según informó el propio aeropuerto.
El motivo no era otro que un posible caso sospechoso de gripe A en uno de los vuelos que habían llegado al aeropuerto, procedente de Nueva York.
El caso sospechoso era el de un ciudadano estadounidense, que ha sido trasladado a un hospital.
El resto de pasajeros ya han abandonado el aeropuerto, con una serie de recomendaciones, cuestionarios y mascarillas.
Sanidad ha asegurado a Público.es que no es la primera vez que se hace este tipo de práctica, que entra dentro del protocolo de actuación.
Los médicos y los técnicos de Sanidad han llegado y han estudiado a los pasajeros, cuando han sido informados del caso sospechoso.
Al resto de pasajeros se les han pasado cuestionario para tenerlos localizados y se les ha pedido que informen si tienen algún síntoma en los próximos diez días.
Hasta el momento, en España hay 54 casos de gripe A confirmados por Sanidad y 60 en estudio.
