El Círculo de Bellas Artes (CBA), tras 48 horas ininterrumpidas, pone fin hoy, a las 11.30 horas, a la lectura continuada de El Quijote con la intervención, en último lugar, de los escritores Juan José Lahuerta y Fanny Rubio.
Juan José Lahuerta ha sido el ganador del III Premio Internacional de Ensayo Círculo de Bellas Artes-Antonio Machado Libros.
El escritor catalán Juan Marsé, quien recibió ayer de manos del Rey el Premio Cervantes, inició el pasado miércoles la lectura ininterrumpida del Quijote en el Círculo de Bellas Artes, donde pronunció las palabras con las que comienza el libro más simbólico de las letras en español.
"En un lugar de la Mancha de cuyo nombre no quiero acordarme..." Así comenzó Marsé esta lectura en la que estuvo acompañado por su familia.
Tras el Premio Cervantes, diversas personalidades pertenecientes a distintos ámbitos han continuado desde el pasado miércoles con la lectura.
Entre quienes han participado en esta lectura figuran Juan Miguel Hernández de León, presidente del Círculo de Bellas Artes; Lucía Mohino, la ganadora del concurso de la lectura en público; Ignacio González, vicepresidente de la Comunidad de Madrid; Carmen Caffarel, directora del Instituto Cervantes, y Víctor García de la Concha, director de la Real Academia de la Lengua.
También han puesto voz al Quijote la ministra de Cultura, Ángeles González-Sinde; el director general del Libro, Rogelio Blanco; la concejala de las Artes del Ayuntamiento de Madrid, Alicia Moreno; el anterior Premio Cervantes, el poeta Antonio Gamoneda, y el escultor Agustín Ibarrola, entre otros.
