El 80 por ciento de los barcos que forman la flota de bajura gallega se encuentra hoy amarrada en puerto, informó la consellería de Pesca de la Xunta, que cita datos de Puertos de Galicia y los representantes de las lonjas.
En un comunicado sobre el seguimiento del paro del sector por el alza del precio del carburante, Pesca señala que el 20 por ciento restante salió a faenar y que "las correspondientes lonjas también están abiertas", si bien en la provincia de A Coruña "las lonjas permanecen cerradas en su totalidad"
En Pontevedra siete lonjas funcionan con normalidad, mientras que en otras cuatro disminuyó la actividad y siete centros de venta permanecen abiertos aunque con "actividad escasa".
Recuerdan además que el paro del sector del transporte está influyendo en el sector de bajura ante el temor de que las capturas no tengan salida.
